Welcome to St Peter's, Lytham
St Peter’s Catholic Church, Lytham is situated on Clifton Street. The Catholic faith in Lytham is steeped in a rich history, dating back to 1190 when a small Benedictine cell was founded in the grounds of the present Lytham Hall. It was in 1829 when the Catholic Emancipation Act created the climate which allowed Father Walmsley to build the present Church. The ensuing years have seen 8 parish priests, a large number of curates and assistant priests, 3 permanent deacons and two congregations of religious sisters working to support the Catholics of Lytham.

holy communion classes 2018
Any children in Year 3 or above who do not attend St. Peter’s School but would like to make their First Holy Communion in 2018, please contact the school on 734658 for details or collect a form from the back of church. The preparation programme will start with a Parent Information and Enrollment Session at 6.00pm on Wednesday 28th February in St. Peter’s school hall.

After the Saturday Mass there are Confessions, Exposition / Holy Hour from 10:30-11:30 followed by the Rosary and Angelus
